The great outdoors is the central theme of the Costa Europa with the expanse of windows through which you can see all the sights as you sail along. The ship was built in 1986 and was completely refurbished in 2002 adding all the modern amenities cruising passengers have come to expect from the Costa Line. There are 753 cabins on the ship, 4 of which have been fitted for wheelchair access. A crew of 636 is more than sufficient to attend to the needs of the 1488 passengers the ship can carry. There are four restaurants, an huge theatre that has two levels and nine bars and lounges providing daily and nightly entertainment.
