The wide range of facilities available on the Costa Atlantica is well-suited for cruisers of all ages. There are many venues in which you can enjoy people watching, which is an Italian form of entertainment. The library contains a wide assortment of genres and the books are divided into different languages, which is very appropriate for the international diversity you find among the passengers. The library is open around the clock, but there is only a specific time of the day during which you can check out books. Take in a show in any of the bars and lounges on the Costa Atlantica or try your luck in the casino, which boasts a large number of slot machines and poker tables. There is often a large number of children cruising with their parents on this ship. Costa Kids Club offers four different programs for children according to age groups. The number of cruise directors in charge of these programs vaies, but there is usually between four and seven on duty at any one time. The Teens Club is one that the teenagers really enjoy because they get a chance to enjoy themselves with others of their own age and away from their parents. There are two parents’ night out on a cruise where the children dine together as a group and have activities on their own with the counsellors.

Enjoy the card room where you can play a quiet game with your friends or take part in a tournament. Shopping is a delight with the stores selling a wide variety of brand name clothing and jewelry. It may be a bit pricey but you still save money in not having to pay any taxes when at sea.
