You are certainly in for a treat when you take a cruise on the Costa Atlantic. There are many bars and lounges on this ship and each one of them features a stage where you can take in nightly entertainment. There is even a dance floor in the main lobby. Endless parties are the name of the game on this ship, so be prepared to be entertained for the duration of your cruise.

The Caffe Florian is a lovely spot to meet up with your friends for pre-dinner drinks or even to meet afterwards to decide what shows you want to take in each night. In the Coral Lounge you will get the sense of being at the bottom of the sea both in its location and the decor. If disco is your passion then you don’t have to go any further than Dante’s. In this location on Deck 2, there is a bar with cocktail tables overlooking the dance floor, which is actually on the deck below and there is a spiral staircase leading down to this venue.



The Caruso Theater is the setting for the spectacular shows and Broadway style reviews for which the Costa Atlantica is renowned. There is a disadvantage in this location, though, in that some of the seats have an obstructed view of the stage. The seats on the lower level have tables affixed to them, while those on the upper level have fold up cupholders in the armrests of the plush and comfortable seats.

The cruise staff do a magnificent job of providing entertainment for the passengers in their song and dance routines. There is an animation staff on the ship as well as dancers and a cruise director. Daytime activities include the usual line up of bingo, art auctions and trivia games. However, on the Costa Atlantica there are more than the normal range of trivia games – often as many as five or six per day even on days when the ship is in port. There are also games by the side of the pool and a variety of tournaments.

Themed nights at sea take on a whole new meaning once you cruise on the Costa Atlantica. Roman Bacchanal is an exciting event for all when everyone dresses in togas. You can take part in a Bocce ball, engage in mask making or learn how to do the Tarantella dance. There are so many forms of entertainment that you will have a hard decision as to what you want to do.
