With the terrible news of the sinking of the Costa ship .We feel we would like to warn anybody thinking of booking a cruise with this company. To think again ,we had a cruise in 2007 on the Costa Serena on the same holiday from Savona which we boarded at Barcelona on the 2nd day into the cruise .There where only about 34 of us British who joined the ship, the rest where all Italian passengers. The cruise was a disaster. Costa had to sail out of Trieste instead of Venice and lost crowd control. Dealing w Italians and Germans who behave like poorly, pushing and shoving with no sense of order and decorum, was ridiculous. And their behavior never improved. The disembarkation was just as poor & Costa had no excuse this time. If they would just enforce a queue.... Food good, ship nice, wa....

I went on this cruise before, and for me and my friends it was (so far) the greatest holiday experience of our life. The alchohol was reasonably priced, the food was delicious and healthy. The gym facilities amazed me (they have things my local gym doesn't), and we partied virtually non stop in the disco and the ports we visited.....

This was my honeymoon cruise. In my opinion it could not have went any smooter. Being served like a queen and visiting so many exotic places was the perfect way to start a new marriage.
My husband and I both liked the excellent food and drink available. The on-board activities were engaging and fun.....
