When in St. Petersburg, we did an excursion that was a city tour. We were hoping that by doing this we would get to see all of the major areas. There was some great value to be had here. The guide was very interesting. They did route us to a souvenir shop at one point which is always annoying. For the most part though the we had a great time. Our journal through the western Mediterranean brought us to Valencia. When we got there, we purchased tips for a bus that allowed us to hop on and hop off of the bus all day. The time that Costa allowed us to stay in the port was a bit too short for my liking, as we really had to make the most of our time. Five hours is just not enough to see such a beautiful place! We had some high hopes after reading great reviews overall about Costa as a cruise line, but we were sorely disappointed once we actually set sail on her to check out the Baltic and Northern Europe. The poor service literally ruined the cruise for us!
The service was terrible the entire cruise! On Costa, I know this is standard on many cruise lines, but they charge you a service charge to cov.... 
We have cruised in the past on both Celebrity as well as Princess, but our time on the Costa Luminosa was our first experience with Costa. We decided on a western Mediterranean itinerary this time out, simply because we thought that the ports of call looked extremely interesting and exciting.rnrnOnce we were onboard the ship though, we were treated to more than we ever imagined. The suite we boo.... 
The good things come first and while writing a review on the overwhelming cruise, I will like to mention the good points at first. I am not a foody, but liked the food collection of the cruise because they were simply awesome. Along with the food, I liked the special drink package and the itinerary mostly.
All the stuffs and cruise members were very friendly and their hospitality made the jour....
